Hi, I'm Kaarin (pronounced kuh-rin).

Since 2005, I have been fully immersed in the world of design. What began as a lifelong passion has evolved into a dedicated career in interior design and renovation planning, built on a deep understanding of how form and function must work together.

At Kaarin Elise Designs, we specialize in Kitchen & Bath Design and Full-Service Interior Renovations. These are the most high-impact spaces in a home, the rooms that shape your daily rituals, and they require beauty and practicality to coexist perfectly. We know how to make them work just as beautifully as they look.

Over the years, I’ve sharpened my expertise not only through formal education and hands-on work, but by mastering professional practices alongside design-build companies, an industry-leading business coach, and major national home brands. Because of this, every project we take on follows a proven 16-step process that leaves nothing to chance. From day one, you have a clear plan that is followed through to the very last detail. We would always rather take the time to get it right than rush to get it done; quality is our ultimate priority.

Outside of the studio... I am a mom to an adventurous daughter, and we spend our days painting or exploring the parks around the Kansas City suburbs. I have a deep love for historical architecture and an active, holistic lifestyle. Whenever a project allows, I bring that perspective into my design work, finding creative ways to honor a home's unique history while supporting the way my clients actually want to live today.
